Trust the French to come up with really sexy designs, regardless of whether we’re talking about chocolates, buildings, lingerie or vehicles. This time around, the conceptual Peugeot XB1 intends to fill a niche in terms of transportation – getting around to a place that is too short to drive, but too far to walk. Enter the Peugeot XB1 which lets you zip around town in a human-sized exoskeleton that is fully electric powered. Ah well, by the time road rules and regulations make provisions for something like this to be road worthy, we’re pretty sure Google Maps’ electric vehicle charging station database would have gone worldwide by then as well. Inside the Peugeot XB1, one would be able to find a user-friendly interface (hopefully not just in French!), GPS navigation support, smartphone applications (iOS and Android, we presume), all crammed into a people mover that can hit a maximum speed of 35 km/h.
