One of the world’s largest publishers of physical books, Random House has finalized a deal with Apple to
sell their books on their eBook store – iBooks. Random House has stated that they will be changing their
pricing in order to accommodate the 30% cut that Apple requires for putting their books on sale on their
eBook store. This means that iBooks users will soon have access to Random House’s 17,000 eBooks (it’s
not going to be an overnight process) and iBooks is starting to look a lot more like a competitor against
Amazon’s Kindle and Barnes & Noble’s Nook stores. How many of you prefer to purchase your books
from iBooks?
