Saab’s latest concept comes in the form of the PhoeniX hatchback which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, where this sleek looking set of wheels is described by Saab as “a visual evocation of the aerodynamic design principles and passion for innovation that inspired the creators of Saab’s first car, the iconic Ursaab.” Relying on the futuristic butterfly door idea that never grows old, this is one for yuppies as well as those who do not want to grow old, never mind that your partner is already far advanced along the years. Inside, you will find a two-plus-two seating arrangement, although the back side of it doesn’t seem to be too attractive for those with long legs. Underneath the hood lies a 200-horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four that will play nice with the automaker’s XWD all-wheel-drive system. Google’s very own Android operating system will run inside, and we do hope that this concept will actually materialize into the real world in due time – at the right price, of course.
