The FCC have gotten their mittens on yet another portable media player of the modern variety – and by that, we mean one that boasts a touchscreen display which isn’t anything like an iPod touch. We’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy Player, where it has just gone through the hoops of the FCC, sporting a sleek form factor and an attractive black and chrome design. You will find the 4-inch touchscreen display to be easy to navigate, not to mention its respectable 800 × 480 resolution, a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS navigation and Android 2.2 as the operating system of choice. Depending on your budget (and following today’s trends), the Galaxy Player will come in varying sizes of 8GB all the way to 32GB to suit your needs and budget. No official word on its release and pricing were released, although it has been slated for a spring rollout.
