Samsung has just unveiled a new line of SD cards that are designed to take a beating or whatever you can throw at them. Okay, maybe not everything but these cards sure look like they can take some punishment. Coming in two categories – Essential (Class 4) and Plus (Class 6), these SDHC cards range in capacities from 4GB to 16GB and boast read speeds of up to 17MB/s and write speeds of up to 13MB/s. In addition to storing data, the cards are waterproof, magnetproof, dustproof and can withstand temperatures from -40C (-40F) to 85C (185F). The cards are on sale in Korea, though there’s no word on pricing or availability about when they will get here.
