The Samsung SCH-R915 which is capable of supporting CDMA/EVDO 850, 1900 bands alongside the 1700 AWS band has arrived at the FCC for closer inspection. Its specifications point towards another LTE handset for carrer MetroPCS in the US. It also has a similar model number to that of the Samsung Indulge (SCH-R910), which is also known as the Forte. No idea on whether the SCH-R915 is just an incremental update to the Indulge, or is it actually a whole new device on its own? Of course, there is also the possibility that the SCH-R915 might end up being a regional variation of the Indulge. We still do not know when it will arrive in the mass market, nor how large of a hole it will burn in your pocket, but with it gaining FCC approval, it will be out pretty soon.
