Samsung targets 30% of global Smart TV shipmentsWhat is life without any targets or ambition? On the whole, the worldwide LCD TV market is tipped to reach 215 million, which is 13% more than last year, while LED-backlit models are expected to make up 40-50% of the global LCD TV market, with 30% to 40% of that for Smart TVs. In this season, LED-backlit LCD TV is the mainstream product, so expect to see more of those models from Samsung in the coming years.
