Sprint HTC EVO 3D official specs leaked, interest sign up page live

The specs for HTC’s upcoming 3D phone on Sprint’s network were previously leaked online, and thanks to some official documents spotted, we now have confirmation of its specs. The EVO 3D will run Android with HTC Sense, on a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon Processor MSM8660, Adreno 220 GPU, 4.3″ Autostereoscopic (glasses-free) 3D display (960 x 540), dual 5 megapixel rear cameras with flash, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, video playback in 1080p in 2D and 720p in 3D, and weighs 6 oz just like the EVO 4G. Let’s hope it’s previously reported 1,730mAh battery is enough to keep it juiced, or that HTC gives it an even bigger battery when it is released. HTC: High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) is a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets. The company started as an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) that was building devices for others, but went on making HTC-branded smartphones based mostly on Microsoft's Windows operating system (OS) for mobile. In 2009, it began to shift its core focus away from Windows mobile devices to Android-based ones. In 2010 the company went back to the Windows Phone eco-system.

Sprint: Sprint is one of the major wireless carriers in the USA. It uses a mix of CDMA, WiMax and LTE Networks as the backbone of its infrastructure. The company's network is also used by third parties and mobile virtual operators like Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Assurance Wireless. Sprint has about 55M subscribers.
