If you happen to need a rugged PC even if you don’t work in some sort of harsh environment, then chances are pretty good you know you’ve got a rowdy bunch of kids who tend to add a whole lot more spice and adventure into your life than you’ve expected. Stealth Computer knows this, hence their latest rugged PC which comes in the form of an all-in-one solution, making it suitable for interactive kiosks, outdoor computing, or marine, aviation, security and industrial environments. This computing machine’s panel is sealed against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose-directed water, where you can choose from a trio of screen sizes. Of course, it also keeps up with the times by boasting a touchscreen user interface, and you will enjoy dual-core processing, HDD or SSD storage options and a multitude of I/O connectivity options. With a stainless steel front bezel that is NEMA 4X/IP56 environmentally sealed to protect its innards from moisture, dust and dirt, and the unit will be able to work within an operating temperature range of between 0 and 40 degrees C (32 to 104ºF), storage of between -20 and 60 degrees C (-4 to 140ºF). Of course, such ruggedness will not come cheap as prices start from $2,995 upwards.
