Try the ViewSonic ViewPad Android tablet for free in the UK

ViewSonic seems pretty intent on making sure their tablets end up in the hands of everybody out there – last week they had an extremely cheap promotion for their 10″ Android tablet, the G Tablet, going for only $284.99 for one day. Now it looks like they’ve got another promotion up their sleeves. In the UK, ViewSonic is letting people try the tablets for free – if you want to look at it that way. If you purchase a the ViewPad 7 from them, you’ll be given up to 20 days to give it a run, and if you’re unsatisfied with the tablet for whatsoever reason, you’ll be able to return it and get a full refund on the device. I guess ViewSonic will be hoping that people will be too happy with their tablets to return it, or they’ll get too lazy to bother – either way works for them. If you’re curious about what the whole deal is about tablets, you might want to give this risk-free approach a go. Though you could always keep the money $464 (£290) and spend it on a tablet that’s been touted to be good, since the ViewPad 7 hasn’t exactly had stellar reviews. For more details head here.
