Wireless accessory manufacturer Innvera has decided to send over their Yo-Pad to the FCC in order for it to be approved before it is released to the masses. This is one innovative device that sports a touch sensitive surface, where it is also able to keep up with the times simply because it can handle a wide range of multitouch gestures with aplomb. Not only that, the Yo-Pad will be able to recognize one’s handwriting, but we’re not too sure whether doctors qualify or not. Heck, it can even handle ideogrammic languages like complex Chinese characters, translating them to text in due time. With a single push of a button, the Yo-Pad will transform into a numeric pad, although it does lack any form of tactile feedback which might take some getting used to. Expect the Yo-Pad to “talk” to computers through a wireless 2.4GHz dongle.  Another interesting feature is the use of rechargeable batteries for added convenience. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time since it can also take over the Magic Trackpad or a notebook’s touchpad function.
