Crysis 2

Many gamers were pretty disappointed when Crysis 2 launched without Direct X 11 support. It was a game that was meant to raise the bar for computer game graphics but it had shipped without the ability to take full advantage of the latest graphics cards available on the market. Obviously people cried foul, and it seems Crytek has heard those cries. Well, Tom Ebsworth, the community manager at MyCrysis and Crytek has officially announced that a Direct X 11 patch will be available for Crysis 2. More details will be given out closer to its release, but that’s all we have for now. While this will certainly appease gamers who have been looking for Direct X 11 support in the game, how many people are willing to replay the game again for the sake of improved graphics? Crysis 2 has been out for a couple of weeks now, and many people would’ve finished it by then. But I guess having Direct X 11 support late is better than not having it at all.
