Now here is a device that might just pique your interest – we’re talking about the EraPalm from EraThink, where this 5″ gaming MID is rumored to arrive at the US later this year although there isn’t any confirmation of that just yet. Some say that the EraPalm would be powered by Windows 7, but on something that has such a small screen, one can just imagine the hell that must be experienced when it comes to navigating the user interface. At least your eyes won’t suffer with an average 800 x 480 resolution for the display, and an Intel Atom Z processor does all the hard number crunching work on your behalf. Connectivity options are aplenty, ranging from HDMI to VGA, USB, 3G, GPS and Ethernet LAN, while a slide-down keyboard makes text messaging and email replies on-the-go a snap. No idea on pricing, but we do hope to see this arrive at the FCC in due time if it really is meant to arrive Stateside. Anyone else think that this is similar to the OCosmos OCS1 that we saw at CES earlier this year?
