Fujitsu Lifebook

Since optical disc drives (ODD) are becoming less relevant in today’s USB storage and cloud-connected world, many notebooks are shipping without them or at least have the option to have them removed. Well the folks over at Fujitsu thought of something better – why not make use of the empty slot where the ODD used to be and add a pico projector to the notebook instead? Hence, the birth of the Lifebook S761/C and P711/C.

These two compact notebooks can be customized to include a portable projector in the slot where the CD/DVD/BD drive used to reside in. So if your work involves you travelling around and giving presentations, these Lifebooks can really make your life easier – there’s no need to lug around an extra projector or even call up the location to make sure they have one set up for you. You can just show up with your Lifebook and start presenting.
