If there’s one thing we like seeing all the time, it’s a product that’s green. White not entirely innovative, this Kickstarter project called Hinge for the iPad 1 + 2 did pique our interest. It is a simple, yet elegantly designed versatile stand for everybody’s favorite iOS tablet. The Hinge lets users view their iPad tablets at any viewing angle they like, depending on what they are doing. From reading, typing, writing, to watching movies, the hinge lets you do all that. The best part of the Hinge is that it’s eco friendly – the stand is made from recycled polypropylene or harvested birch and high grade leather, depending on which model you choose. When not in use, it folds up easily and stays shut (thanks to its magnets); which to make it easy to bring around. But here’s the kicker – the Hinge is not available for sale yet and it won’t ever make its way out of the prototype stage if its creators don’t get the funding to kick start the project. They’re still way off the mark from reaching their intended target, so if you’re interested in getting one of these nifty stands head over to the Hinge Kickstarter page, pledge and let your friends know about it.
