Windows Phone 7 users would have found out by now that they find it difficult to select a Wi-Fi network to join if it remains hidden from view, but the good people over at HTC have provided a fix thanks to the Hidden Wi-Fi app. This is a free download, where it allows you to specify the names of up to three Wi-Fi networks which do not broadcast SSIDs, which makes it perfect if you happen to switch between networks that tend to use the same security settings. Once you’re done entering them manually, you can hook up to them when the situation calls for it as though they were standard networks. Interested? You will be able to pick up the app for free in the Windows Phone Marketplace right now. Let us know how it goes, yeah?
