For those of you who are still smarting knowing that your PlayStation Network (PSN) connection is still down after 5 days, and to rub salt into your wounds, Sony has just confirmed that some credit card details have already been compromised, here is some good news – Hulu Plus, a new online service will be available to the Xbox 360 – a console that still has its online service working just fine and dandy.

According to a rather legitimate looking scan of the June issue of OXM, Hulu Plus will arrive on Xbox 360 this coming Friday – which would be April 29th. Seems to be quite official since the last we heard of Hulu Plus arriving on the Xbox 360 platform would be “spring”, and it makes perfect sense for the date. Not too sure how many people would tune in to this though, as Prince William and Kate Middleton would be getting married on the very same day.

According to this rumor (you will just have to wait until the 29th to find out, right?), Microsoft will also ensure this launch is accompanied by a promotional contest, where each week from April 29th through May 30th, prizes will be given to randomly selected Hulu Plus users. These will range from Beaches Resort trips all the way to free Xbox 360 bundles and Hulu Plus subscriptions.
