The wonders of jailbreaking – the good people over at Apple might not approve, but they certainly cannot stop you from doing so to your iPhone 4 if you feel like it. After all, only a jailbroken iPhone 4 is able to run iPad apps on your beloved smartphone, thanks to a new easy-to-use tool that was conjured by a bunch of hackers.

This is by no means a groundbreaking piece of software, but to know that your iPhone 4 can run iPad apps? That alone should give you enough satisfaction, knowing that you are ahead of the rest of the crowd in terms of “geekiness”.

Granted, this tool is not perfect since applications tend to crash more often than not, and you might even run into problems when it comes to displaying content on the iPhone’s relatively smaller display, so make sure that your cat has enough lives since you can always give it a go if you happen to be curious.

Known as the iTelePad2Pod, this app will, as aforementioned, require your iPhone to be jailbroken while running on OpenSSH installed (an app from Cydia which enables your computer to “talk” to your iPhone). To put it in a nutshell, download iTelePad2Pod, move it over to your Mac’s Application folder, and run the app. For those who have taken it out for a spin, how do you find it?
