Once in a while, an electric vehicle ambles along, making you wonder whether this could be the next big thing or not. The Lito Sora electric motorcycle might just be that very vehicle, for it boasts of some rather outrageous claims on paper. Imagine what its lithium polymer batteries are able to achieve – delivering 12 kilowatt-hours’ worth of juice that translates to a whopping 300km range, which places it around 185 miles between charges.

Of course, if your hand is feeling itchy, you can always rev the throttle and hit a top speed of 125mph – just make sure that your next-of-kin have already been informed beforehand that you own a Lito Sora, and courting death is your favorite form of speed dating. With its smouldering design, you can be sure that you will attract your fair share of ladies as well (we’re assuming that more guys would be interested in the Lita Sora), where it is not all form and not substance, but rather, it will feature an in-dash touchscreen GPS system and electronically adjustable ergonomics.

Regenerative braking is applied to the hilt for the Lito Sora,, where a CV transmission also helps to maintain an efficient engine output at a broader range of speeds, while making it possible to hit the Sora’s 125mph top speed to boot.

The downside? Taking 8 hours to charge from empty, and being super expensive where its battery pack is concerned. Imagine replacing the battery at a price that is nearly as much as a spanking new Japanese superbike, or perhaps even more.
