In case you’re in the dark – Microsoft recently released a cloud-based PC management service, Windows Intune, and to appease the folks who’ve wanted to find out more about the service, they’ve updated their Windows Intune FAQ and put up a blog post to reveal more details about the service. Windows Intune is basically a program designed to manage computers (running Windows of course) by keeping them updated with the latest software updates, security protection, and OS upgrades. Similar to Windows Server Update Services, Windows Intune can be used to replace it as it offers even more features. If folks are having problems with their computer, tech support can even use remote service to help them diagnose/solve problems. Windows Intune also uses a secure HTTPS connection to make sure all communication with the cloud is secure. Find out more.
