Mitsubishi has just announced a new series of HDTVs that are targeted at consumers looking to jump into the HDTV scene with entry-level models. The new REAL BHR500 series are HDTVs with built in Blu-ray disc players and recorders, and a 500GB hard disk drive. They also sport digital TV tuners, a USB slot, SD card slot, and an Ethernet port. The HDTVs will be available in 4 different sizes: 40″ and 46″ that have a full HD (1080p) resolution Diamond 120Hz Panel, while the smaller 26″ and 32″ models only sport 1366 x 728 LCD 120Hz panels. The TVs will be available in Japan and prices range from $1,643 to $3,286.
