Windows 8 Modern ReaderSome screenshots of Modern Reader, a program supposedly designed for Windows 8 has surfaced on the internet, and shows off how it will look like on the operating system. The app that is said to be the default PDF reader on Windows 8 gives off a Metro-UI vibe, with its simplified designs and use of similar icons, which falls in line with previous reports we’ve heard about Windows 8 being optimized for tablets. So it’s no surprise if Windows 8 takes some design cues from Windows Phone 7 – the operating system that was designed to be used on mobile devices anyway. All in all, things are looking good, and Windows 8 might shape up to be one of the most interesting iterations of Windows, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Head here for more screenshots of Modern Reader.
