iPhone docks seem to be a given these days, considering how nearly everyone and their uncle own an iPod or iPhone, so it makes perfect sense to increase the chances of you selling your wares with the inclusion of an iPhone/iPod dock with each hardware release or refresh. Native Union is no fool for that matter, and their latest Moshi Moshi 04i Bluetooth stereo handset comes equipped with a dedicated iPhone dock.

This is a high-performance Bluetooth desktop stereo speaker system, professional conference call unit and cell phone handset all rolled into one – coupled with noise reduction technology, of course. At the cradle lies a base for iPhone synchronization and battery charging purposes. Award-winning product designer Michael Young is the one behind the MM04i’s design, where it will flow with the overall iPhone experience without looking out of place. You can also talk and listen hands-free without worrying about voice quality, either.

Interestingly enough, we do wonder why the MM04i uses Bluetooth 2.1 instead of the latest Bluetooth 3.0 technology – perhaps the latter isn’t adopted by a whole range of devices yet, and since the adoption rate is so low, it wouldn’t make sense to include something more expensive, right?

It shouldn’t retail too far off from either side of $300, as the price quoted is at $1,800 Hong Kong dollars. [Press Release]

Update: We have gotten official word from Native Union that the MM04i will retail for $200 Stateside.
