Motorola Droid X2 caught in the wildVerizon Wireless’ Droid X will be getting a sequel, where it isn’t that inspiring (but effective) when it comes to the naming convention – the Droid X2. What we can tell from the X2′s leaked images would be a 4.3″ touchscreen display on an Android-powered smartphone that does seem to hark back to its predecessor in many aspects, although only upon using it can we tell whether it is worth having one in our pockets or not. The Droid X2 might or might not come with 4G LTE connectivity at press time, so an official announcement is worth the wait. Connectivity options include an HDMI and microUSB port, so that might just mean it could be compatible with current Droid X accessories and docks. Of course, the Droid X2 will not come with  capacitive touch for the Home, Menu, Back, and Search keys, as it prefers mechanical buttons instead. Ah well, it is only a matter of time before the Droid X2 is officially released, so stay tuned!
