Nikon D5100The D5100 D-SLR which was revealed in some press shots yesterday has officially been announced by Nikon today. Designed for users looking for an advanced camera and still want fun features to enhance their photographs, the Nikon D5100 D-SLR is touted to offer “a new perspective on creativity”. It packs a large 3″ high-res swivel type vari-angle LCD monitor, 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, D-Movie with Full HD (1080p, 24/30p), Full-Time AF and stereo sound, 11-point AF system including a cross-type sensor, Live View with Auto Scene Selector, Built-in HDR, ISO Sensitivity 100-6400, 4 fps high-speed continuous shooting, and an Effects Mode that let you enhance your images and videos (included effects: Night vision, Color sketch, Miniature effect and Selective color). The D5100 D-SLR will be available in mid-April for $799.95 (body only) and $899.95 for outfit (inc. 18-55mm VR lens).
