Nintendo has just announced a release date for the Pokemon Global Link, which is set to arrive this coming April 13th – that’s just a couple of days away. This takes handheld gaming to a new level, where it is touted to deliver robust online, browser-based features which comprise of a dream world that allows you to collect items, not to mention enjoy the company of a well-supported battle community, while benefiting from any extras should Nintendo feel generous enough to distribute from time to time. According to J.C. Smith, director of Consumer Marketing for The Pokémon Company International, “The Pokémon Global Link further expands the world of Pokémon and enhances the global connectivity of Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version. “Pokémon has always been about communicating and battling with others, and the Pokémon Global Link has taken that philosophy to a new and exciting level.” Anything with the name Pokemon on it sells, similar to how Justine Bieber works amongst teens.
