Want a more fun way to control the Parrot AR Done? Forget the iPhone, how about making use of a Microsoft Kinect instead? The Microsoft Kinect that has been made to perform a million different tasks has recently been utilized to control the Parrot AR Drone quadricopter. While it’s not one of the most practical ways to control the AR Drone (taking it outdoors would be extremely troublesome since you’ll need to bring the laptop and Kinect controller as well) and at this point in time the gestures seem a bit clumsy. But for what it’s worth, it really does look like you’re making the quadricopter fly around with magical hand gestures. Hit the break to watch a video of it in action:
