Samsung Galaxy S 2 going on sale in UK May 1 Last week we reported that the Samsung Galaxy S 2 phone will be on sale in Korea this month, and now we’re beginning to find out when the phone will trickle out to the rest of the world. Samsung has officially announced that the dual-core Android phone will be available in the UK on May 1^st. The super slim, lightweight Android 2.3 phone comes with a 4.3″ Super AMOLED+ display toting phone with an 8 megapixel rear camera (that records videos at up to 1080p), a dual-core Samsung processor, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. When it goes on the sale in the UK, it will be on all major networks and retailers. Stay tuned for prices in the future.

Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets.
