OK, so the Samsung S2 portable hard drive has seen quite a fair bit of action in its time, first coming pre-loaded with a Michael Jackson movie, while getting a USB 3.0 update later last year. This time around, Samsung intends to milk this cash cow for all it is worth by offering the Samsung S2 Gamers Edition hard drive, where consumers who decide to pick this up willbe able to enjoy a month’s worth of free trial for Blizzard’s StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty game.

Apart from that, everything else about the Samsung S2 would remain the same, including USB 3.0 connectivity for speedy file transfers (just make sure your computer has USB 3.0 support as well), SecretZone and SafetyKey that do their part in making sure that all data stored within remains safe and private.

Available in 500GB and 1TB capacities, the Samsung S2 Gamers Edition hard drive does seen to be available in South Korea only at the moment, although we are quite sure that importers will be getting their hands on some of these puppies pretty soon. Anyone up for such gimmicks? Most of you would probably already have a copy of StarCraft II anyways, right?
