Sharp SH 12C receives FCC nod3D technology has even spread to the realm of smartphones, and Sharp doesn’t want to miss out on the action as well with their qHD 3D display that is found on the SH-12C handset, having picked up FCC approval in the process. On paper, the Sharp SH-12C does seem to be the poor man’s version of the HTC EVO 3D, sporting a slightly smaller 4.2″ qHD resolution 3D display and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor that chugs along with just one core, but it does win in terms of cameras built-in – we’re talking about a couple of 8-megapixel sensors that can be utilized to develop your own 3D movies. Shipping with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Sharp SH-12C seems to support only one of the main GSM bands Stateside, so it doesn’t seem to be headed our way – perhaps a future version of the SH-12C that has a more co-operative radio will show up eventually.
