If you’re one of the 10 million Skype users that use the app on your Android phone, you should be careful. Android Police recently took the app apart and realized how easy it was to extract data from the app. Your username, profile and contacts – all your information that is shared with Skype in addition to your chat logs can be easily extracted due from the app itself due to its unprotected database. So while you still have Skype on your phone, be wary of whatever apps you install lest your private details and chat logs get leaked online. Head over to Android Police for the full exposé.
