Sony has just introduced a couple more DAB+ radios to their “collection”, so to speak, with the two of them functioning as totally different designs. The first of the two are very different from each other, with the Sony XDR-S16DBP leaning more towards being retro, sporting a rounded wood cabinet, while the Sony XDR-C706DBP takes a page off the more modern era, sporting a generous LCD display that makes it a snap to view right on the bedside. Both models, as you can tell by now, are compatible with the DAB+ standard that is being introduced throughout Europe, letting your ears benefit from not only more stations but clearer audio as well. The XDR-S16DBP and XDR-C706DBP will retail for £80 and £60, respectively, when they arrive in the UK. It really depends on which model you want to suit your interior design.
