T Mobile G2x officially launched today

If you’ve been waiting for the G2x to arrive on T-Mobile since it was officially announced – you have to wait no more. True to their word, T-Mobile has put the phone up for sale on their website today. The rebranded LG Optimus 2X marks the arrival of the first dual-core Android phone on Magenta’s network and it features some changes that will make a lot of folks happy: a stock version of Android (unfortunately it is version 2.2) that a lot of Android enthusiasts enjoy, and 4G compatibility (HSPA+) – a feature we thought lacking in the original Optimus 2X. The T-Mobile G2x is on sale now on T-Mobile.com (retail outlets get the phone on April 20) for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract.
