Some folks who’ve been playing around with the leaked Windows 8 beta have discovered even more examples of the Metro UI being used in the operating system. We all knew that Windows 8 was designed for tablets as well as PCs, but so we haven’t really seen too many elements of its tablet UI design. Well the folks over at windows8beta.com have discovered a way to launch the system settings menu that is displayed in Metro UI, allowing users to modify the settings of the operating system as if it was being used on a tablet.

It’s kind of odd to see the Metro UI being used with a mouse, and you can tell that it’s really been designed for tablets – there’s even the option to enable GPS, which is obviously not present in desktop computers. Hit the break to watch a video of the Windows 8 settings menu:
