Windows App Store shots might or might not be the real dealiTunes is certainly the runaway champion when it comes to application stores for mobile devices, but that doesn’t mean other companies are willing to be left behind. No sir, it seems as though Microsoft is ready to bite back with their Windows App Store through a leaked image – or so some say, as others contend that what you see above is a fake. You be the judge as to whether that is an early screenshot of the portal, given the title “Windows App Store”. The sidebar shows off a list of installed apps in addition to different methods to manage your download queue. What is seen on the catalog does seem to comprise mostly of Microsoft apps, although if you look closely, you can see the Angry Birds icon in addition to Starcraft II (!), and Firefox and Thunderbird from Mozilla amongst others.
