Computex 2011 might just be the CES of Asia, at least in the eyes of some. Well, Asus is certainly occupying centerstage this week at Computex 2011 by teasing details of an upcoming Eee PC model, in addition to having three images of a new device paraded around, accompanied by a question to the masses asking them whether it will be a tablet or a phone.
Touted to be “The next evolution of Eee PC”, it look set to join the rest of the super slim designs that are getting more and more common these days. After all, slim has always been in – it is just that not all companies do offer slim devices at an affordable price. After all, a Ferrari never came cheap, so why should a good looking notebook? Chances are this will be a netbook since it is part of the Eee PC line.
Hopefuly with such a slim device (and subsequently, its battery ought to be slim, too, to fit in), it will be able to last the distance. Netbooks have done quite well for themselves in terms of stamina, lasting up to 8 hours thereabouts, so keep your fingers crossed that Asus will not overlook this aspect.
