UPDATE: Activision has released an official teaser trailer for MW3 in light of the leaks (Click past break to see it!)

Big news shook the gaming world today! Gaming blog Kotaku broke published details on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The first person shooter will pick up where Modern Warfare 2 ended, with battles spread across the globe from Brooklyn to Russia. No seriously, New York City!  There will reportedly be a healthy amount of multiplayer maps to go with it as well. For the full details, you’ll have to head on over to Kotaku to check it all out.

It’s also important to note that creative director Robert Bowling at developers Infinity Ward tweeted, “A lot of hype & a lot of leaked info on #MW3, some still accurate, some not. To avoid spoiling the experience, I’d wait for the real reveal.” What Bowling basically means is, take the news with a grain of salt.

Kotaku says the game will be released on November 8, the same as what we’ve heard before. So what’s your take? Excited for more Modern Warfare? Which version are you going to get?
