The Motorola Droid X 2 has been spotted countless of times in the wild, but we still have yet to hear any word from Motorola concerning the Android smartphone even though we know its full specs. Now, it turns out that the Motorola Droid X 2 has made an appearance on the Motorola support page, along with the user guide for the phone. This pretty much confirms the device will be arriving, but it’s only just a matter of when.
Previous reports have put the release date to by May 19, which means that we only have two days until we hear about and see the phone from Verizon or Motorola. The Droid X 2 isn’t a massive departure from the original Droid X; in fact on the outside, the only difference is the missing dedicated camera button on the X 2. I guess Motorola is following the good old adage of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
The Droid X 2 will feature a 4.3″ qHD display, a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 8megapixel rear camera (no front facing camera on this model), 512MB of RAM, 8GB ROM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Android 2.2 (Froyo).
