At Sony’s January NGP unveiling, Konami showed off a demo of Metal Gear Solid running on the console. We’ve now learned from Konami’s earnings call that the publisher has its development teams working vigorously on other NGP titles as well. Although no specific titles were mentioned, I think it’s a safe bet that the publisher’s largest and most successful franchises such as Castlevania, Pro Evolution Soccer and Silent Hill will probably see a day out on the NGP.

The Nintendo 3DS already has a very polished looking version of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3DS running on it and we all know how much people love that series. Give gamers new IPs that will blow them away and they’ll be happy. Please don’t give us a high-definition version of Frogger. That game needs to be put to rest already.
