When Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album was put up for $0.99 earlier this week, the response was overwhelming and caused Amazon’s servers to shut down. Many users were left unable to download the download the whole album, though Amazon tweeted that they would be honoring all purchases made on that day.
And in a new press released just issued not too long ago, it looks like Amazon is going to try the $0.99 promotion for the album again. However this time, they claim they’re ready. Seeing how most of them would have already purchased the album, I predict that there won’t be that many customers this time around. But it would be funny if Amazon crashed again due to all the Gaga fans they get.
Amazon MP3 customers will be able to purchase Lady Gaga’s Born This Way for only $0.99 today and will be given a free upgrade to 20GB of storage on their Amazon Cloud Drive account. A pretty sweet deal even if you don’t want to listen to Lady Gaga – $0.99 for an extra 15GB of storage? Sign me up! But hurry, you only have 24 hours to take advantage of this deal.
