Lady Gaga hits 10 million followers on Twitter account

Lady Gaga looks like she is a natural record breaker, and her most recent foray into the Guinness Book of World Records involves Twitter – the super popular microblogging tool that has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception. Lady Gaga’s Twitter account actually went past the 10 millionth follower as of last Saturday night, making her the first user to surpass this milestone. She has also tweeted to thank her fans (calling them Monsters), and we are quite sure that this is not going to be the final figure in the long run as she does seem to be able to last quite long in this industry.

Hot on Lady Gaga’s trail would be teen sensation Justin Bieber, who currently has slightly more than 9.65 million tweeps and might just overtake Gaga considering the much larger amount of tweens who are, well, ga-ga over Bieber.
