Since Lenovo is a China-owned company even after snapping up IBM all those years ago, it makes perfect sense for the Lenovo LePad, an Android-powered tablet to be released in that part of the world first before anywhere else. It must be noted that the LePad is due for a US release later this year, but if you love being an early adopter all the time, then you might want to check it out in China first. This tablet will ship with a 10.1″ touchscreen display at 1,280 x 800 resolution, accompanied by a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Google Android 2.2 as the operating system of choice. Read on after the jump for further details on its innards.

Chinese site IMP3 has spotted the LePad being taken apart, so know you are able to know what the tablet looks like on the inside. A Toshiba-supplied flash memory card is in there, accompanied by a Wolfson audio processor.

The battery takes a page from Apple’s book since it is not user replaceable, and other items such as the storage, memory and additional components are soldered straight to the motherboard – so you can be sure that this is not user upgradeable. Bummer!
