Refund TimerOne of the major changes made to the Android Market this year has been the refund-window. Previously when users got to try apps from the Android Market, they got a 24 hour period to test it out. If they didn’t like it, they could uninstall the app for a full refund. But that window has been shortened to just 15 minutes much to the chagrin of most people. After all, was 15 minutes enough for you to make sure an app runs on your phone without a hitch, and it actually gives you all the features you want? 15 minutes can go by pretty quickly if you’re spending it trying to figure out how come an app isn’t working properly on your phone.

Introduce Refund Timer. This app, available on the Android Market, helps users keep track of the time remaining for them to test out an app. It locates the time that Google processes your payment and adds 15 minutes to it, and puts a countdown timer on the screen to remind you how long you have left. The timer even stays on screen when you’re running a fullscreen app, so even if you’re in a game you’ll be able to tell how long you have left.

Refund Timer will work for 72 hours before it stops working which at that point you’ll need to purchase the in-app license key to keep it working. Check it out on the Android Market now.
