Are you still recovering from the Sony Online Entertainment‘s (SOE) near downtime? Are you still concerned about the possibility that someone might have your credit card and other personal info and go to town with it? Fear not, because just as Sony is offering identity theft protection for affected U.S. customers, SOE is also offering a similar shield for its European buddies.

Teaming up with Affinion, SOE will be providing a year’s worth of identity protection for Station Account holders in the U.K., France, Italy, Spain and Germany. Read on to find out what coverage Affinion and SOE will provide.

Here’s how it’ll work. As soon as SOE is back up for applicable Station Account holders, they will have 60 days to contact Affinion to claim the free identity protection plan.
