Star Wars day was yesterday, and ClamCase decided to announce a new Star Wars inspired iPad case called The Trooper. Decked out in the same colors as a Storm Trooper (black and white), this iPad case makes your iPad look like it would fit right at the office desk of an Imperial soldier.
The white case comes with a black keyboard and a slot for you to place your iPad 2 where the LCD display usually is. The case also has ergonomic rubber feet to make sure it retains a grip on your table when in use. And unlike most iPad cases that are usually made from leather or a soft material, The Trooper is made of a hard protective shell to give your tablet extra protection from the usual bumps from occasional carelessness.
The perfect gift for a Star Wars fanboy with an iPad 2? Possibly. You better pick it up as soon as possible though, these limited cases aren’t going to be on sale forever. The Trooper iPad 2 case will go on sale this summer for $149.
