Facebook iOS photo appThe folks over at TechCrunch seems to have gotten their hands on a whole bunch of documents containing details and images of Facebook’s upcoming photosharing app for the iPhone. And judging from their first impressions, they seem to be pretty enamored by the app which they are calling “awesome”.

The app, which has been codenamed “Hovertown” or “WIthPeople” is said to be a cross between some famous iOS photo apps – Path, Instagram, Color and With; with the added benefit of being able to take advantage of Facebook’s entire user base. While no details have been revealed yet, TechCrunch has promised to show off more over the next few days. I guess we’ll be finding out about the app from them (or Facebook if they choose to officially unveil the app themselves). Stay tuned for more details.

Update (6/16): TechCrunch has finally released all the images that they have of the app. From what we can see so far, it looks pretty interesting. Head there to check out all the app screenshots.
