Fake Google Nexus 3Remember the leaked image of the so-called Google Nexus 3? Some pundits are right – it is a fake after all, which is quite a downer after all of the initial buzz surrounding said leak. Guess Ice Cream Sandwich will not be welcomed so soon, and if you are one of those who have had your hopes up sky high before reading this, we’re sorry to say that things in life do not pan out as planned sometimes. How does one tell that the leaked image is a fake? Well, just take a closer look at the blown up image above – the shades that the glass itself casts on the actual display eventually end at one point, on both left and right. The portion located below the natural shaded screen is a whole lot crisper and sharper, leading one to the conclusion that the screen ended with Photoshop taking over from there.

Sorry to burst your bubble, folks, but that’s life. Sometimes rumors are spot on, while on other occasions, it is nothing but a hype drumming machine, with the latter being the case this time around.
