HP Pre 3 up for pre order in the UK

The HP Pre 3 was announced earlier this year at HP’s press event, and other than its sightings at the FCC, there hasn’t been any news about the phone. All that might change very soon – the upcoming webOS phone is now up for pre-order in the UK. The phone has just been given a price and a release date by UK phone retailer Play.com. The flagship webOS phone will be released in the UK early next month on July 8th. The phone has been priced $564 (£349.99) off contract, which gives us a fair estimate of how much it will cost when it reaches our shores.

The Pre 3 packs some pretty high-end specs, with a portrait slide-out QWERTY keyboard that should please BlackBerry fans. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8x55 processor clocked to 1.4GHz, a 3.58″ touchscreen (480 x 800), 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, Flash support, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel rear camera with flash that supports 720p HD video recording, a VGA front facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and HP Touchstone support. The phone is expected to arrive this summer. Head over to Play.com if you’re in the UK and you would like to pre-order the phone.
