Hmmm, what is this all about? It does seem as though the Microsoft store is no longer putting up Windows Phone 7 smartphones for sale – and we’re talking about models that are on offer by their “premier partner” AT&T. Those who are diligent enough to click hyperlinks would realize that the front page of the site shows off handsets only by T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint, whereby previous links that once led to AT&T handsets have been depopulated as you can observe in the image above. Hopefully AT&T’s “premier partner” status has no resulted in a acrimonious break-up…

At least one commenter from the source article has checked with a Microsoft representative concerning the situation, where the transcript pointed out that said Microsoft rep mentioned that they “do not have an AT&T plan set up on our site.” What do you think of the entire situation? Is AT&T no longer favored by Microsoft to carry their Windows Phone 7 handsets?
