Nokia sounds like a superhero (or super villian, depending on how you look at the big picture) with whispers of their brand new market disrupting device, according to iTWire who reportedly received an invitation from Nokia Australia for an announcement and demonstration of said device.
This demonstration will happen this coming June 21st, where following that will be a live broadcast of Stephen Elop’s keynote speech directly from the Nokia Connection event that is happening in Singapore. For those who remember who Stephen Elop is, he is the person who revealed MeeGo as the Finnish cellphone manufacturer’s “future disruption in mobile ecosystem.” That alone would be the main idea behind one’s assumption of a MeeGo-powered Nokia device come next week.
According to the Nokia Connection event website, the says they will “showcase the latest and newest devices and services to customers, operators, media and analysts from the region.” Are you excited already?
